Dr. Ángel E. Esparza is the Principal Technical and Policy Advisor at GHGSat Inc. Ángel joined GHGSat’s Houston office in February 2021 to support the Sales and Marketing group focused on the US and Latin American markets. Ángel has over 13 years in Air Permitting and Compliance in Research & Development engineering projects and in the Oil and Gas sector. He has worked in the development of a light-extinction method and inverse reconstruction modeling to study aerosols using in-situ and satellite data. Ángel holds B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso; a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso; a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University; and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ángel is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
